Worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness;
Tremble before Him, all the earth!
To worship is to ascribe worth. As we come to worship the King of kings and Lord of lords, we come with both celebrative praise and reverent worship.
Enthusiastic praise and thanksgiving offered in music expresses
our deep appreciation of, and the great worth of the Lord. Reverent worship prepares our hearts to receive the word of God that will come forth, and it helps us to be more aware of His manifested presence in our midst.
The time of expression of our gratitude to the Lord and of reverent worship to prepare our hearts is a very significant part of each church service.
